Our Story
For over 25 years, the Langdon Theatre Association has been a cornerstone of the Langdon community — nurturing young performers, building lifelong friendships, and proving that great theatre can happen anywhere.
A small group of passionate community members came together in Langdon, Alberta with a shared vision: to give local children a creative outlet through theatre arts.
The association staged its first full-length musical production, drawing an enthusiastic audience from across Rocky View County and cementing LTA as a community institution.
LTA secured a dedicated rehearsal and performance space in Langdon, giving students a true home for their craft and enabling more ambitious productions.
Summer camps, workshops, and after-school programs were introduced, broadening access to theatre education for children of all ages and experience levels.
Like many arts organizations, LTA navigated the challenges of the pandemic with creativity — offering virtual workshops and outdoor performances to keep the community connected.
Celebrating 25 years of nurturing young performers, building friendships, and enriching the Langdon community through the transformative power of theatre.
Our story is still being written. Join the Langdon Theatre Association and help shape the next 25 years.
